As Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a parody of film noir, this movie would have taken on the war genre, with Roger involved in WWII.
This was one of the first “Almost a Movie” scripts I collected in hard copy form, and I’m happy to have found a PDF of it online. (That saves me the effort of having to scan it myself!)
Read a review at Film Buff Online. See “Who Screwed Roger Rabbit” at the Animation World Network.
I would love to have a chance to read this script. If you ever happen to get it transcribed, or scanned (or want it transcribed, I’d be happy to do that) let me know. I’m beyond curious about this would-be movie.
Thanks!
I just found a PDF of it online and added the download link above. Enjoy!
maybe it would have been better if there was a argument, a controversy in the toon verse about born toons and drawn toons
while the period of world war 2 in the human verse, you know ? that drawn toons don’t consider the existence of born toons since toons consider themselves better than humans in lots of ways, and to acquire the ability of aging( cause logicable if you’re born then you’re aging )means that you’re acquiring some sort of humanity, kind of immortals don’t want mortals thing that would have been a good idea
